David Joel Meyer, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend died Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the age of 71.
He is survived by his much-loved son, Andrew Meyer, grandson Liam Meyer, sisters Beverly and Janice Meyer, and Niece Shani Hoke.
David was predeceased by his father, Joel Meyer and mother, Imogene Meyer.
David was born in Duncan, Oklahoma but spent most of his life in Carson City and Dayton, Nevada. David had several jobs through the years and retired after many years from the City of Carson City. David enjoyed the outdoors by hunting and fishing at every opportunity.
Needless to say, there are large quantities of wildlife that will be safer now.
Among his many attributes are dedication to his son, Andrew, awesome brother to his sisters, Jan and Bev, and loyalty to his many friends. He was proud and independent. Therefore, he lived his life the way he wanted but was always willing to help others when needed. We are all very fortunate to have had this terrific man in our lives.
There are no plans for a service at this time.
