Barbara Hotchkiss, age 65, of Gardnerville, passed away on November 8, 2023. She was born on June 22, 1958. Barbara was a passionate, loving, and kind individual known for her devotion to God and her family. She was a faithful Christian and lived a humble and organized life. Barbara enjoyed spending time at home and catching up with family and friends. She will be remembered for her helpful nature and her silly sense of humor. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Don Hotchkiss, her mother Sylvia, her children Luis, Leticia, Adrian, and Rosa, and her sister Carol and brother Roger. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her father Bob Gove and stepfather Ted Whittaker.
She was a dedicated member of Shadow Mountain Church, where she worshipped. Her faith was an important part of her life. Barbara enjoyed going to church, reading books, and studying the Bible in her free time.
A memorial service will be held in honor of Barbara at Shadow Mountain Church, located at 1311 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville NV 89410, on November 20, 2023, at 1 pm.
