Nancy Louise Hall

July 13, 1944 - November 16,2023

Nancy Louise Hall was born to Kenneth and Dorothy (Wakefield) Larson on July 13, 1944, in Long Beach, California.

The family moved to Hawthorne, Nevada in 1951, where she resided until after she married her late husband, Leroy Merlin Hall. The couple raised their family all over rural Nevada and Nancy enjoyed most of her adult life in Fallon.

Nancy had an unwavering love and dedication to all thing’s faith and family. She was a big fan of John Wayne and Disney and had an extensive collection in both categories. She was dedicated to her church and had an anthology of LDS books that would rival any library.

She loved creating Primary and Sunday School lessons, and would spend hours researching them to perfection.

Nancy cherished holidays with her family and was famous for her deviled eggs, her homemade Christmas cards, and her meticulously wrapped gifts. She had a knack for finding treasures and trinkets in any store she frequented and took great joy in bestowing those treasures to her loved ones and seeing the delight on their faces. She went to great lengths to have supplies on hand to create the most beautiful crafts and floral arrangements for every season and distributed them generously wherever she went. She was also a very talented seamstress and cake decorator, often using her skills to provide for her family.

Nancy exemplified an amazing work ethic that lives on in both of her children still today. She was particularly proud of her service to Fallon Naval Strike and Warfare Center, from which she retired in 2008.

Nancy passed away on November 16, 2023, at Covington Senior Living in Orem, Utah surrounded by her beloved children.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Linda, her parents, her husband and her grandson, Tyrel.

She is survived by her brother, Wayne (Linda) Larson; her daughter, Kenna (Rick) Sweat; her son, Buck Hall; daughter-in-law, Cassie Hall; her granddaughters, Tara Hall, Tayler (Reed) Owens, and Kasee (Randy) Smith; and ten beautiful great grandchildren.

An intimate graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 25, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Utah.
