Scott Wade Raty of Carson City passed away Dec. 10th, 2023, at age 65 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Scott was born Sept. 27th, 1958, in Auburn, California and was a resident of Carson City for all his adult life.
He learned the drywall trade working for Silver Sage Drywall, and recently retired after 30 years as a Premier Drywall Finisher with MC Drywall.
Scott is survived by his wife Kimberly along with his children; Scott and Kayla, stepchildren JoeMack and Christy, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Siblings; Beverly Rolfe (Steve), Clay Raty, Trena Borello, and Evelyn Pyne (Dave). He is preceded in death by parents Don Raty and Donna Rolfe, and sister Brenda Stringham.
A remembrance will be held Saturday, Jan 20th at 1:00 pm at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, 1131 McCay Dr., Carson City, NV.
