Political junkies will converge on the Atlantis Casino and Resort on Friday for the West’s largest show and sale of political campaign memorabilia.

The biannual convention will offer thousands of campaign buttons, posters, advertising, Americana, protest and cause-related items not only for viewing but for sale.

A spokesman said hundreds of collectors from across the country are expected to attend.

In addition, spokesman Adam Gottlieb said the show will provide those attending with free appraisals of their own political collectables by experts.

Admission is $5 for both days for individuals, $10 for families. Children get in free.

The event is being put on by the American Political Items Collectors, a non-profit organization dedicated to the study and preservation of the nation’s political heritage.
