The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance to identify a man involved in a theft from the night drop box at the Gardnerville US Bank.
During the evening on Oct. 19, a white sedan with a sunroof approached the US Bank drop box, located at 1525 Main St. A man with short dark hair exited the vehicle. He was wearing a red Volcom shirt, tan/green shorts or pants, and a black hat. He spends a short time manipulating the drop box, and may have been able to extract something from inside of it.
A second male appears to be seated in the passenger seat of the sedan, but cannot be clearly seen.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigator Brandon Williamson at 782-9927 with any information relating to the identity of the suspects.
