The Carson Valley Art Association Scholarship Show opens 10 a.m. today through 3 p.m. Sunday at the CVIC Hall, 1604 Esmeralda St., Minden.
This is a judged show with ribbons and cash prizes in seven categories plus a “Best of Show” and “People’s Choice” awards.
Guidelines and entry forms are available at carsonvalleyartists.com. Printed forms are also available at many local galleries and frame shops.
The event also will include a raffle and a minor masterpieces table which will include artist’s smaller (less expensive) creations.
The raffle drawing will be held on Sunday, but you do not need to be present to win. Winners will be called if not present.
Show hours are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday with a reception 5-7 p.m. Saturday including light refreshments; 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
