Borda sheep have been unleashed in western Carson City to consume cheatgrass and other vegetation before a fire does.
Gardnerville sheep will consume cheatgrass and other non-native vegetation on Carson City Open Space and Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest’s Carson Ranger District.
