Obituary: Col. Arthur Wayne Reed

Aug. 28, 1916 - June 25, 2013 Col. Arthur Wayne Reed, 96, passed away June 25, 2013 in Carson City, NV. Col. Reed was born August 28, 1916 in Wichita, KS to Arthur and Clyde Reed. Col. Reed was a graduate of the U.S.M.A. at Westpoint in 1939. From there he embarked on a thirty year career in the U.S. Army, artillery division. He is a WWII veteran. Col. Reed was stationed in Hawaii at the time of the attack on Pearl Harbor. After Col. Reeds retirement from the Army he went to work for General Dynamics in San Diego, CA retiring in 1978.
