Library trustees will meet Jan. 11, 2022, to discuss selecting a search firm in their hunt for a new director
After interviewing the sole candidate for the job of Douglas County Librarian, library trustees decided to go back to the drawing board on Tuesday.
Starting May 1, the Minden branch of the Douglas County Public Library will be open to the public 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m Saturdays.
Library trustees indicated on Tuesday that they’re not interested in spending money on anything that might be perceived as an alternative to fully opening the Douglas County Public Library.
