Lights from an illegal marijuana operation rivaled those of Gardnerville in this photo taken last year by a Pine View Estates resident. The operation south of Gardnerville was visible on Google Maps.
Neighbors have been watching the expansion of what turned out to be an illegal marijuana grow for a year.
