The aspens along Highway 88 in Hope Valley had turned in mid-October 2023.
Autumn brings Leaf Season to Alpine County, where the friends of Hope Valley will be conducting an event 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 12-13 at Picketts Junction at the junction of highways 88 and 89.
