• Gov. Kenny Guinn will give his State of the State Address at 6 p.m. from the Nevada Assembly Chambers, state Legislature building. The speech will be televised live on channels 2, 4, 5, 8 and 21 and Carson Access Television on channel 10.

• The Alpine County Resource Advisory Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Diamond Valley School near Woodfords. The committee will discuss issues relevant to natural resources in Alpine County. The public is invited.
