Husband and wife team performs through Sunday

"Chazz" continues in the Carson Valley Inn's Cabaret Lounge through Sunday, "Shake, Rattle & Roll" appears Tuesday through March 12, "Major Link" returns March 14-19 and various groups entertain on Monday nights. Carson Valley Inn Cabaret Lounge entertainment is presented with no cover and no minimum.

"Chazz" originated in the early 1980s in San Francisco. This husband and wife team of Kim and Tom Smith, both accomplished vocalists and keyboard players, has performed for audiences for more than 20 years. Their quintet includes William Graham (vocals and percussion), Russell Hines (vocals and bass) and Billy Reed (vocals and drums). "Chazz" performs songs from the 1950s through the golden Motown years, on to the nostalgic 1970s and 1980s and some of today's hits. They entertain with 45-minute shows nightly, starting at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and11:30 p.m.

"Shake, Rattle n' Roll" always brings great audience enthusiasm with their authentic recreations of classic rock 'n' roll tunes of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s ... performed live, without the aid of computers and tapes, with a song list of over 500 classic hits. The band features Chuck Battle on lead vocals, Andy Highhouse on guitar, Michael Tucker on bass and vocals, Randy Bradley on drums and Bill Crane on keyboards and vocals. Forty-five-minute shows at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday through Sunday.

"Major Link" is the dynamic and often-requested duo of Terry Saunders and Mary Owens. Using the most up-to-date technically advanced musical equipment, they cover a full range of today's popular music, with hits from Traci, Tina, Cher, Ricki and more. The duo presents 45-minute shows at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday through Sunday.

Upcoming Monday night entertainment in the Cabaret Lounge includes "Cameron" on Monday and "Twice as Nice" on March 13 and 20. Monday night entertainment sets are also at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 p.m.

Sports action is always plentiful at the Carson Valley Inn with four plasma screens and a giant pull-down screen in the Cabaret Lounge plus additional TVs in the casino and in P.J.'s Pub.
