ICE HOCKEY

Amanda Essary, soph., Oklahoma State: The Cowboys dropped two games, 5-2 and 6-13, to Southern Methodist last week.

Andy Weiss-Berg, soph., F, Nevada: Stats not available.

Kyle Martinez, fr., F, Nevada: Stats not available.

BASKETBALL

Andrea Honer, sr., F, Point Loma University: Honer suffered a serious knee injury against Westmont College last week. The preliminary diagnosis was an ACL/MCL tear, which would most likely end her career.

Erin Brinkmeyer, fr., G, Redlands: Brinkmeyer had two points, two rebounds and one steal in a 55-35 win over Whittier. She had two rebounds and an assist in a loss to Cal Tech.

Pat Carlson, fr., G/F, Butte College: Out for the season with a broken foot. Was in the starting lineup before his injury.

Nick Lonnegren, fr., G, Butte College: Results not available from last week's game against Feather River.

BASEBALL

Shawn Estes, P, San Diego Padres: Season has not begun yet.

Chris Honer, Rfr., P/OF, Point Loma: Honer pitched two scoreless innings in relief in his first intercollegiate outing. He walked two and struck out two in a 14-1 win over Bethany College. He also recorded a strikeout and walked one in a scoreless relief outing against Lee University and came back two days later to make his first start.

He struck out two, walked two and scattered three hits over five innings, again allowing no earned runs in a 3-1 win over Lee.

Tommy Hoyle, jr., P, Mesa State: Season begins Friday.

Cal Lewis, jr., 3B, South Dakota State: Season begins Feb. 28.

Bryan Miller, soph., OF, Mesa College: Season Starts Friday.

Chad Walling, fr., OF/INF, Western Nevada: The Wildcats went 3-1 to open the season with wins over Glendal, Southern Nevada and South Mountain.

Jimmy Pierce, fr., INF, Western Nevada: The Wildcats went 3-1 to open the season with wins over Glendal, Southern Nevada and South Mountain.

Katie Pagen, soph., P/3B, BYU-Hawaii: Season starts Friday.
