It's going to be one hot weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures are expected to crack the century mark by Friday thanks to a ridge of high pressure over the area.

The Weather Service says record high temperatures are possible in some locations.

High temperatures are expected to decrease sligtly next week as the ridge heads south and east.

If you're planning on doing anything active outside, remember to hydrate, wear a hat and use that sunscreen.

- Wednesday's Young Chautauquans will be at the Genoa Court House Museum 5-8 p.m. instead of Mormon Station State Park, which still has a fence around it as work continues. The performances continue the same time on Thursday.

-At 7:15 a.m. there are no major traffic incidents or accidents to report.
