The Town of Gardnerville will present the second Carson Valley Christmas Season Kick-Off 5 p.m. Nov. 29 at the Heritage Park Pavilion.
This family-oriented event features the Carson Valley Middle School band performing a selection of holiday music, and the Carson Valley Community Theater group with "Santa's Little Helper Part 2 or There's No Time Like the Presents."
Heritage Pavilion will be lit for the holiday season, and Santa Claus will be on hand to welcome children young and old to the 2006 Christmas season. Attendees can enjoy roasted chestnuts, hot chocolate, hot apple cider and a holiday treat.
Heritage Park is located on Gilman Avenue on the way to Chichester. Turn east at the stoplight at Sharkey's Casino off Highway 395. For more information, contact the Town of Gardnerville offices, 782-7134.
