Gardnerville couple celebrates 60 years

Margurite and George McConkey celebrated their 60-year wedding anniversary on Sept. 21.

"Marge" and George are parents of two daughters and two sons. They live in Gardnerville with their daughter and son-in-law. Their other children live in Southern California and Colorado.

The McConkeys have nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. They celebrated their first 60 years with a dinner at Michael's at the Inn and look forward to the next 60 years.
