Time once again for the '50s Rock-A-Thon Car Show and Swap Meet 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 21 at Heritage Park in Gardnerville. The event is sponsored by the Town of Gardnerville and The Valley Cruisers Car Club.
The swap meet is for all car related parts and accessories. There is a $10 entry fee. Contact John at 267-2770 for more information.
The hobby car show will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. All hobby cars are welcome including street rods, classics, muscle cars, antiques, sports cars, kit cars, trucks, low riders and everything in between. Awards will be presented. There is a limit of 100 car entries and the fee is $10 per car.
Hot dogs, cold drinks and chips will be for sale. Bring your chairs, blankets and the entire family for a complete day of music, cars and buying all of those used car parts that you cannot live without.
