The northbound lanes of Highway 395 in downtown Gardnerville are closed while firefighters investigate a report of a fire in the old Penguin Plumbing Building.
Now an antique store, a neighbor reported seeing smoke coming from the roof of the building.
Douglas County Sheriff's deputies closed the highway at Douglas Avenue and at Mission Street.
The fire call came in at about 6:05 p.m.
