The Douglas High School volleyball team advanced to the Northern 4A Regional semifinals with a three-game win over Fallon Friday night at Galena High School, 25-13, 27-25, 25-23.
Taryn Williams had 12 kills and Jourdan Burke had nine to lead the Tigers while Jessica Waggoner came up with 18 blocks and Bridget Maestretti had 13 to lead Douglas up front.
Megan Mitchell had 32 assists and 12 blocks, Burke had four aces and Williams had nine digs as Douglas improved to 32-4 overall on the year.
Douglas takes on Damonte Ranch today in the semifinals at 2 p.m. at Galena.
The winner advances to the regional title game at 5 p.m tonight.
