There is a vehicle accident with injury at Kingsbury Grade and the Chart House on the Tahoe side. The accident occurred at 7:20 a.m. and the Nevada Highway Patrol is warning motorists to expect delays.
A short downpour doused Genoa at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday night. It was a heavy rain for about 15 minutes before it let up. According to the National Weather Service, there is more coming today, with a 40 percent chance of rain today and a possibility of thunderstorms after 10 a.m. The winds will remain light at 5-10 mph.
