1955-2008

A celebration of life is 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Edgewood Golf Course for 25-year Gardnerville resident Cheryl Darlene Hall, 53, who died Aug. 20, 2008, at her home.

Born Jan. 19, 1955, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Charles and Gayle Cable Smith, she graduated from N.W. Classen High School and the University of Oklahoma. She previously lived in South Lake Tahoe.

She married Jack Hall on May 6, 1984, in Gardnerville.

Mrs. Hall was a loving stay-at-home mom and interior designer. She loved working in her children's classrooms and was active in their lives. She had a happy and loving marriage. She enjoyed boating, skiing, cooking and entertaining her many friends.

She is preceded in death by her stepfather Howard Cable of Oklahoma City.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; parents Gayle Cable and Charles and Bess Smith of Oklahoma City; son Alex of Gardnerville; daughters Corie and Sierra Hall, both of Reno; brothers Chuck Smith and Russell Smith of Oklahoma City; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
