Weekly update on former Tiger standouts

For the week ending Jan. 7, 2007

Amanda Essary, jr., F, Lindenwood: The Lions came back from a long layoff with three convincing wins. Lindenwood knocked off Concordia 6-1 and then swept a doubleheader from St. Benedict 4-1 and 3-0. Essary has one goal and five assists for the Lions, who are 13-2 overall on the year and 4-0 in conference play.

Keith Olson, fr., C/F, Northern Arizona: The Lumberjacks (10-6, 2-1) beat Eastern Washington Thursday and lost to Portland State Saturday.

Brendan Carlson, fr., G, Lassen College: Lassen is 8-10 on the year overall.
