Welcome to Carson Valley Days Saturday. Highway 395 hasn't quite closed down yet, but it looks like they're getting close.
Parade goers are setting up seats along the route, which rolls from Minden Park down Esmeralda Street and onto the highway.
The balloons launched and are landing now and the Partnership run should get going any minute.
It's 59 degrees under sunny, but hazy skies.
The parade kicks off at 9 a.m. today.
