Child knocked down by car

Medical personnel responded to 728 Orbit on a report of a 6-year-old child knocked down by a vehicle at about 8:50 a.m.

The vehicle was doing about 15 mph when it hit the child, who was knocked down. Medics on the scene said the child suffered bruising to the forehead, but no apparent loss of consciousness.

Care Flight helicopter was canceled.
