Time to find common ground

Why is it that so many of us are so quick to point out in others what we don't like, without doing the same to ourselves? Is it that we all feel that improving our own likes, attitudes and feelings is much too difficult? I have found that we all do it, and that in and of itself, shows that we all are more alike that we realize.

When you see the common ground between people, it makes it so much easier to see the world through another's eyes. I truly believe that as many problems in the world today could be done away with simply by human compassion.

Having a heart and warm disposition is an enormous advantage. Not only does it bring us joy, but we can share this joy with others. Relations between individuals, nations and continents deteriorate only from lack of good will and kindness.
