Former Minden-Gardnerville Sanitation District Manager David Anthony La Barbara, 61, of Gardnerville, died Dec. 4, 2009. He was born Feb. 10, 1948, in Springfield, Ill., to Anthony D. and Delores E. (Lawson) La Barbara.
He served as manager of the district, located in Minden, for more than 25 years.
