Cleta Pearl Hall

A memorial service is 1 p.m. Tuesday at Carson Valley United Methodist Church for 29-year Gardnerville resident Cleta Pearl Hall, 96, who died Dec. 15, 2009, at her home while surrounded by her friends and family.

Born Dec. 15, 1913, in West Virginia, she has been in the Gardnerville area since 1980. She graduated high school in Ohio and was a hotel manager. She married Harold Hall in 1984. She was an active member of AARP and other local organizations and enjoyed playing bingo at the senior center.

Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband.

She is survived by her son Gary Murray of Gardnerville; daughter Bonnie (Donald) Jackson: grandchildren Cheyne Jackson and James (Amy) Jackson: Great-grandchildren Montgomery Stonewall Jackson, Prairie Jackson, Tanner Jackson, and Abigail Jackson and her best friend Mary Lou Grippi.
