Merry Christmas

EDITOR:

So as I drive around town this week in all the beautiful snow, and I look in all the store windows, or the signs in front of the houses, or the windows in the restauraunts I see "Happy Holidays," "'Tis the Season" or "Seasons Greetings."

Yes the holidays are happy, and I love to greet the seasons, and 'tis the season is great but, do you know what I have never, ever seen on the sign in front of their house, or the window in the store is Merry Christmas. I mean isn't Christ the reason for the season, isn't he the reason that we are here today? So this week as we look at the beautiful snow just remember that Jesus is the reason for the season, and spread some Christmas cheer, and say Merry Christmas to that store clerk or to that waiter, or that Santa in front of the store and remember "Seasons greetings to the happy holidays for it 'tis the season to celebrate Christmas."
