Grand Prix Express Car Wash is now open in south Gardnerville and will be celebrating its grand opening on Jan. 9.
At the grand opening, free deluxe express packages will be offered.
Greg Shaffer, the manager, said that all construction and testing of the brand new wash, wax and drying equipment have been completed and the cars are leaving the wash sparkling clean.
Shaffer, who has worked in the car wash and oil change business since he was 17 years old, commented that this car wash is a hybrid as it incorporates the latest technologies, recycled water, soft-touch and spot-free rinses with the hands-on human element.
Grand Prix Express Car Wash is now open daily from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The temperature must reach 30 degrees for the equipment to function.
Specials are being offered during the holiday season to acquaint customers with the new high-tech wash at 1295 Highway 395.
