A Mass of Christian burial is 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville for Gardnerville resident Marie Eleanor Feria Machetta, 91, who died Feb. 15, 2009, at her home. Father John Corona will preside over the service.
Born Aug. 5, 1917, she was a fourth generation native of San Pablo, Calif. She moved to Gardnerville in 1993 at age 75.
Mrs. Machetta is preceded in death by her husband, Peter; the Feria family and her cousin Phyllis Iverson.
