Sounds like a plan

In reading the article on March 25 "Hitting the Pavement" an idea came to mind. I am one of those people who have said "I have been here for X number of years and I didn't know this place was here." Once the "business survey" is complete, maybe Main Street Gardnerville could use that information to provide a listing to The Record-Courier for an article informing the public of the name and address of the businesses along Main Street, how long they have been there, their store hours and what product or service they provide.

If part of the goal is to bring more consumers into these businesses, getting the information out to the public in a format they can cut out and save may increase business traffic and get people talking about what is available in our own backyard.
