Allan Richard Thomas, 78, of Gardnerville, died May 17, 2009, in Gardnerville. He was born Oct. 18, 1930 in Los Angeles to Gifford and Winifred Thomas. He is survived by his fiancee, Joan.
A private celebration of life is 4 p.m. May 26 at Walton's Douglas County Mortuary, 1478 4th St., Minden.
