Katie Baumruck of Gardnerville received a master of education degree in risk and prevention from the Harvard Graduate School of Education on June 4, 2009.
Baumruck is a 2002 graduate of Douglas High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno.
She is the daughter of Allen and Susan Baumruck of Gardnerville and is employed as the director of college advisement and consulting services at Tahoe Tutors of Zephyr Cove.
