Whittell High School freshman Sierra Forvilly, sophomore Zach Welch and senior Lauren Andrew were selected for the Northern Zone Nevada Music Educators Association Honor Choir. Earlier this year, they competed against other high school students from Northern Nevada.
In other music news, the school's Black & White Choir is also singing for the Reno Aces baseball team on May 4. The Zephyr Cove Elementary Spring Concert is at 9:45 a.m. May 25.
The Whittell High School Spring Concert is at 5:30 p.m. May 26.
The high school's spring music department performance trip to Disneyland is May 27 to May 30. Donations may be sent to WHS Music Department, P.O. Box 677, Zephyr Cove, NV, 89448.
