Classic cars from Hot August Nights are expected to continue passing through downtown Minden until 2 p.m. today.
Minden is a lunch stop on a poker run for the Reno car event, which will continue until Sunday.
An estimated 800 cars are expected in Minden today.
More than 800,000 people come to the Reno-Tahoe area for the week-long jamboree of American nostalgia and classic automobiles. This summer, Aug. 1-8, marks the 24th year of the event.
