A celebration of life is 1 p.m. Sept. 18 at Carson Valley United Methodist Church for former Gardnerville resident Jerry Sue (Fox) Brocchini, 77, who died Aug. 5, 2010 at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital in Hollister, Calif.
Born Nov. 28, 1933, in Hamlet, N.C. to Howard and Ailene Fox, she lived in Gardnerville for more than nine years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sylvio of 48 1/2 years; and grandsons Anthony and Danny Brocchini.
She is survived by her children Randy, Janice, Sylvio (Colleen) and Theresa (Terrance); siblings Pat Saunders, Carol Asnault; 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.
