Coleville assistant football coach held in lewd acts

The assistant coach for the Coleville High School football team was taken into custody for lewd acts with a minor under the age of 16 and molestation of a child under 18 years old, according to the Mono County Sheriff's Department.

Sgt. Cody Carlisle, 25, a Marine assigned to the Pickel Meadows Mountain Warfare Training Center was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies working with the Mono County District Attorney's Office.

Mono County Public Information Officer Jennifer Hansen said Thursday that none of the victims' names will be released due to the fact that they are minors under the age of 18.

He served as the Coleville Wolves defensive coordinator and was named 1A coach of the year.
