Women's Entrepreneurs of Carson Valley host January meeting

MINDEN, Nev. -- The Carson Valley Chapter of Women Entrepreneurs of The World (WE) is holding its monthly meeting on Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Two Guys From Italy in Gardnerville. The group meets monthly for networking, lunch and a guest speaker.

This month's speaker is Lee Weber-Koch, of Weber & Associates, Creative Marketing Solutions. She is speaking on "Marketing on a Shoestring Budget - Top 10 Tips for Successful Media Relations in 2010." Weber-Koch shares tips and tricks for how to get free publicity for your business and events via local media coverage. For 20 years, Weber-Koch has created award-winning branding, marketing, public relations and advertising programs for a wide variety of businesses and industries. Her achievements include Marketer of the Year Award from the Nevada Chapter of the American Marketing Association, the Silver Dollar Award of Excellence from International Association of Business Communicators, and the Nevada Governor's Tourism Award of Excellence.

The monthly WE meetings are open for all to attend this fast-growing group of local business professionals. Cost is $15 for WE members, $20 for guests. RSVPs are requested by Jan. 25.
