An interesting fact from the commission agenda for Thursday is that there were only eight single family home building permits issued during the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2009-10. Also the county has 67 vacant positions, 56 full-time and 11 part-time. They don't start recruiting for a position until 60 days after someone leaves. Commissioners are meeting at the Lake on Thursday.
Shoulder work on Kingsbury between Highway 50 and three miles up resumes 7 a.m. Thursday and will continue through 3:30 p.m. Monday. Expect traffic delays.
The weather is going to be sunny and warm today with a high in the low 90s. Expect some breezes this afternoon.
