Rory for governor

EDITOR:

When I was growing up, my mother told me that unless I changed my direction I would continue ending up in the same difficult situations.

My mother had good common sense. Consequently, she would have said that Nevada companies will keep sending their jobs overseas as long as our state ranks low where we should rank high and high where we should rank low.

I can imagine her casting her ballot for Rory Reid at the big polling station in heaven because he knows that we cannot keep cutting our funding for education and move forward.

Of course, my argument would be that no one wants higher taxes. She would most likely retort that by cutting funding for education, you are cutting everyone's hopes and dreams for a better life.

By voting for Rory Reid for governor, you are voting for your children's future.
