A pair of Douglas High incoming seniors played for the North All-Stars at the annual Kelley Baseball Showcase in Las Vegas Friday night.
The south walked away with a 13-5 win over the North, which was coached by Galena skipper Ron McNutt.
Kameron Van Winkle struck out one in two innings of work on the mound and managed to retire the side in the fifth inning on just five pitches. He also drove in a run for the North.
Thomas also struck out one in one inning of work.
