To Sheila Gardner and Shannon Litz, thank you for your sensitive and timely reports on the Biaggini family's journey. I never felt like a voyeur, only that I had been allowed to share some very private and poignant moments along the way. To the Douglas County community, particularly the sheriff's office family, my heart is full of pride at the response to the Biaggini family needs - Mike was an amazing man, but your support throughout this ordeal has been nothing short of extraordinary. To Mary, Michael and Nick, I have very seldom observed such grace in the face of adversity. Please know that, despite this tragic end, the love for your family continues and whatever you need, whenever you need it, we are still here for you. God Bless you all.
