Sponsors wanted for summer concert series

Sponsors are needed for the Douglas County Parks & Recreation Department's annual GE Energy Family Summer Concert Series beginning May 28 in Minden Park.

The concerts are free to the community thanks to the Town of Minden, GE Energy, Carson Valley Inn, Dr. James the Dentist, Edgewood Tahoe Golf, Walmart, Park Place AM/PM, and Sullivan Law.

Co-sponsors and advertising sponsors are needed for the July 30 and Aug. 27 events. All sponsorship donations go toward concert costs including promotion, talent, sound and staffing. For information, contact Sheryl Christian at schristian@co.douglas.nv.us or 782-9828.
