A memorial service is 1 p.m. March 20 at Carson Valley United Methodist Church for Gardnerville Ranchos resident Thelma Eilene Jacobsen, 82, who died of pneumonia Feb. 26, 2010, in Placentia, Calif.
Born Oct. 20, 1927, in Massillon, Ohio, to Charles and Ruth Graybill, she married Bob Jacobsen on Nov. 29, 1947.
The couple moved to Carson Valley in 1994.
Mrs. Jacobsen is survived by her husband; children Jan, Jeff and Lori; grandchildren Jennifer, Melissa, Sean, Lorissa and Meah; a great-grandchild; brother Gerald Graybill; and sister Ruth Eberhardt.
Arrangements were in the care of The Neptune Society.
