Steven and Rosie Lopez of Minden announce the engagement of their daughter Veronica Lopez to Jason Wucher, son of Stuart and Donna Wucher of Newmarket, N. H.
After graduating from Douglas High School in 2001, Lopez joined the Navy as a cryptologic technician. She and Wucher met while stationed in Harrogate, England.
Lopez is stationed at Fort Meade, Md., and Wucher works for the U.S. government in Washington, D.C.
The couple plan a wedding with family and friends, June 26, 2010, in Incline Village, Lake Tahoe.
