Indian Hills fire set by discarded cigarette

A bush on fire in the parking lot of a Highland Manor Apartments in Indian Hills appeared to have been set by a discarded cigarette.

Several residents called 911 to report the fire at about 7:20 a.m. East Fork Fire District firefighters arrived onscene from the Sunridge Station 12 and had the fire out.

The apartments are located at 3501 Vista Grande Boulevard.
