Alyssa Anne Matus and Kyle Edward Martinez of Tucson are engaged to be married July 9, 2011, in Minden Park and the CVIC Hall.
Alyssa is the daughter of David and Melinda Matus of Gardnerville. She is a 2006 graduate of Douglas High School and a current student at the University of Arizona, Tucson.
She will graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in December, and will begin a position in women's health post-partum at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, in January.
Kyle is the son of Terry Martin of Malta, Mont., and Steve Martinez of Gardnerville. Kyle is a 2005 graduate of Douglas High School and is currently a student at the University of Arizona, Tucson.
He will graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in December, and will begin a position in critical care at Renown Regional Medical Center in January.
