Volunteer training for arts council

Those who have a passion for the arts or who want to be involved in the community are invited to attend volunteer training, 6-8 p.m. Sept. 15, at the Copeland Cultural Arts Center, 1572 Highway 395, Minden.

Volunteer opportunities are open for Carson Valley Arts Council and the Town of Genoa concerts and events, including the Genoa Cowboy Poetry & Music Festival in May. Information, Connie, 783-9668.
